One of Australia’s most successful Manufacturing/Industrial ASX listed business’ is undergoing significant cultural change driven by a refreshed Board and new management. The company has a presence working with a diverse group of blue-chip customers and brings a strong heritage spanning over two decades of steady growth. As the company continues to expand and evolve via both M&A and organic growth, a role has been created for a hands-on, seasoned senior finance professional.
Reporting to the CFO, and leading a large finance team, this people leadership role will have responsibility for providing sound financial advice to the Executive Leadership Team. You will be afforded autonomy and be responsible for the day to day management of the finance function, financial planning and analysis (strategy), treasury, tax, and project work related to M&A and the broader business development agenda. You will lead the finance team in preparing the financial reports that will include P&L analysis, cash flow forecasting, month end and statutory reporting.
To be successful, you will be CA/CPA qualified, will have spent several years in a Big 4 firm and will possess a demonstrable track record as a hands-on, commercially astute GFC from within a Publicly listed manufacturing business. You will possess strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and possess commercial and financial nous. This is a genuine 2IC role to the CFO and provides an excellent career path in a well-respected ASX listed business.
